Guitar Valet, Restring and Tune £15.00 (12 string guitars £20.00)
As well as putting on your strings and tuning the guitar we will lemon oil and clean up the fingerboard, polish the frets and clean the Instrument. This service requires string replacement please remember to add the cost of a set of strings of your choice.
Professional Nut Replacement £30.00
Removal of the old nut, custom shape and fit a new nut made with the material of your choice (Tusq or Bone), cut the string slots for maximum playing comfort and re-adjust the neck relief.
Fret Dressing, Profile and Refinish. (12 frets £40.00, 24 frets £80.00)
High or worn frets are the main cause of buzzing on a guitar and can seriously affect the way your guitar plays. Each fret is individually levelled, re-crowned and refinished. This service requires string replacement please remember to add the cost of a set of strings of your choice. This service is most benificial when combined with a full setup. We strongly recommend this to customers wanting the best possible playability from their guitar.
Electric & Bass Guitar Setup and Service £40.00
This service includes; Full valet, cleaning and lemon oiling the fingerboard - all frets cleaned and polished – rectifying minor fret deviations causing buzzing problems - truss-rod adjustment - nut cut to right height - setting of the action - intonation adjustment - trem adjustment (electric only) - pickup height- electronics checked and pots cleaned if required - guitar re-strung and tuned. Acoustic Guitar Setup and Service £30.00
This service includes; Full Valet - cleaning and oiling the fingerboard - all frets cleaned and polished - truss-rod adjustment - nut cut to right height - setting of the action - guitar re-strung and tuned. Minimum Bench Charge £5.75
We can do anything including fitting pickups and machine heads, replacing pots, switches, re-fretting etc.
Amplifier & High Tech Repairs (Minimum Evaluation Charge £15.00)
Repairs to amplifiers or high tech equipment are individually assessed. Prices vary depending on the nature of the fault and any new parts that need fitting.
Guitar Authentication and Valuation £10.00
Gives indication of market value and authenticates originality, Ideal for insurance valuation and claims.
