Created by Ibanez Japan for the 2005 winter Namm show, this iconic guitar was destined never to make it into production. Only 50 were produced in total, resulting in the RG20051 becoming one of the rarest Ibanez guitars of all time.
As a result of the custom hand swirling technique applied not only to the body but also to each individual pick-up, no two RG20051LTD guitars could ever be the same. Ultimately, each of these spectacular instruments possess their own unique identity.
The RG20051LTD was originally unveiled as the 'RG Special 1' prototype. A mere 50 bodies were subsequently hand swirled in the Japanese Custom shop that produced the very first and highly acclaimed, Universe UV77MC guitars. Ibanez released these 50 pieces predominantly to the US and Japanese markets, making it almost impossible to locate throughout much of Europe.
This guitar is in 'as new' cherished condition with no marks or signs of use. It is complete with original case, swing tags, allen keys and Ibanez J-Craft Prestige booklet.
