The '85-'95 period prior the factory move to Stevensville, Maryland facility remains the 'Golden Years' for PRS. Though the quality and prestige is still there in their recent guitars this earlier period firmly holds a special mystique and desirability amongst players and collectors. This 1990 example we believe was built for display at the '91 NAMM trade show. It has an impressive 10 Grade flamed maple top, Brazilian board, Bird inlays and gold hardware. It has also been signed on the control plate by Paul Reed Smith.
This guitar actually featured on the front cover of the Dan Erlwine Guitar Player: Repair Guide (Copy included)
It is in excellent original condition with little signs of use. The gold plating is intact with no oxidisation or wear. The fretting is perfect. Playability and tone awesome. I sincerely doubt you will find a more striking and cleaner example.
