The ES-335 brought Hollowbody tradition and solid-body performance together in 1958. It went through various design changes in the 60's and 70's, but in 1981 to the approval of players and collectors, Gibson brought the ES-335 back to its original classic original design styling, with pearl 'Dot' inlay, stop-bar tailpiece and nickel plated hardware.
Main appointments includes a laminated figured maple semi-hollow body with solid maple centre block; slim mahogany '59 profile neck with 22 fret rosewood fingerboard and classic dot inlays; 2x '57 Classic PAF humbucking pickups; ABR-1 / Stop-bar; Grover tuners; Nickel hardware.
Includes its original Gibson brown tolex hard case.
Condition: Very Good; original specification no issues. Some light marks and indentations to the body/neck and some belt rash on the back, nothing serious. Usual tarnishing and ageing to the nickel hardware. Fully serviced and set-up in our workshop.
