The Loar’s hand-carved LH-700 Archtop guitar is a product of extensive historic research. Its excellent projection and quick decay make it the professional choice for jazz soloing or accompaniment.
The LM-700 is crafted with an AAA solid hand carved spruce top, AAA flamed maple back and sides, and a figured maple neck with a vintage-style skunk stripe. The bone nut and compensated adjustable ebony bridge let the sound of the select tone-woods resonate clearly. The headstock is inlaid with a MOP “Flowerpot” headstock design and the guitar is finished with a hand-buffed nitrocellulose lacquer tobacco sunburst finish to stay true to classic design and style.
