Made to the high standards that reflect the respected and expensive Hawaiian koa models, these Islanders have a unique charm all of their own. The mahogany wood gives excellent frequency response, lovely full bass combined with a very balanced treble. Certainly a cut above other Uke's at the same price!
One of the most attractive things about this model is the slightly wider than normal fretboard, which at 1.5 inches or 38mm at the nut makes getting your fingers into the right shapes an absolute dream. Combine that width with a very slinky neck profile and you have a very easy to play instrument.
Features include a laminated mahogany body; mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard; satin finish; quality chromed geared tuners with black buttons; 15" Concert scale; 14 frets to the body, 19 frets in all. Nu-Bone nut and saddle.
