Hamer Guitars was founded by Paul Hamer and Jol Dantzig who initially satisfied a demand for high quality custom electric guitars from their home state of Illinois (1976) USA. The company's early instruments featured guitars heavily based on the Gibson inspired designs which successfully established them as one of the most desirable premium boutique guitar brands.
This superb example features a striking premium book matched flamed maple top lovingly finished with 14 layers of hand-buffed lacquer, certainly one of the best we have seen on this model and paired with a select one piece Honduras Mahogany. It has been upgraded with a retro fitted Bare Knuckle VHII (I think) in the bridge and retains a stock Seymour Duncan in the neck position otherwise it is in its original specification with no issues.
It is in excellent condition with consideration to age with only very light signs of use and is complete with its original hard shell case and original warranty card.
A guitar that is as beautiful as it is playable and offers exceptional quality and value.
