Early Japan Tokai guitars are increasingly in demand from both players and collectors. Respected for their high build quality and attention to detail they became a serious alternative to their American derivatives.
This mid-eighties TTE-60 example is more of a players guitar than a collector piece and is priced accordingly. It has some natural wear to the finish on the body sporting several chips and dings from its obvious gigging legacy. The 3-Way switch has been upgraded and a black replacement Fender scratch plate has been added. The pickups, pots and hardware remain original.
It has been fully serviced in our workshop and has great playability having been fret dressed and fully set up. To sum up, this is a cool TTE offering a natural relic character and that legendary Tokai 'Breezysound' feel and tone.
