Pre-Owned 1989 Manuel Contreras Masterbuilt Brazilian complete with case.

Manuel Contreras Snr (1928-1994) was one of the great Madrid makers who was originally one of the artisan craftsmen at the Ramirez workshop. Almost from the beginning, Contreras gained the reputation for being one of the more creative and inventive luthiers in Spain and his original 'Masterbuilt' instrument are highly prized by players and collectors.

This rare example was hand crafted by him in 1989 utilising a combination of cedar and Brazilian rosewood providing lavish projection, tone and volume. Mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard. Bearing his signature and production date on the label this is a rare opportunity to invest on one of Spain's most respected classical luthiers.

Includes hard case.
