Pre-Owned 1975 USA Guild Artist Award Archtop Hollow body Jazz guitar. Beautiful carved flame maple construction. Superb example in excellent original condition. Includes Guild period hard case.

Introduced in 1956 as the Johnny Smith Award, this model was re-christened the Artist Award in 1961. Individually handmade by their most experienced builders, the Artist Award continued to sport appointments seen only on ultra-deluxe instruments from the 'Golden Era' of the 1930's and 40's. 

Now highly coveted by both collectors and players these rare and seductive Archtops represent the pinnacle of Guild craftsmanship.
